Tea in the United States covers everything from a traditional Chinese or Japanese tea house to a Southern sweet-tea counter, and the fastest-growing segment is bubble tea: Taiwanese-style milk teas and fruit teas with tapioca pearls, sold by chains and independents alike with adjustable sugar and ice levels. Tea rooms serving afternoon tea with scones and sandwiches usually require a reservation, while boba shops, juice bars and smoothie shops are walk-in and quick. Kava and kombucha bars are a newer category, and loose-leaf tea stores sell blends, teaware and gifts, often with a tasting counter. Prices for a drink run similar to coffee-shop prices, with premium teas and cold-pressed juices at the high end.

Houston is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Houston follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Nice little store. I like the tea pots you can put on top of your drinks for a few bucks more

I ordered the Matcha Brown Sugar Pearl Milk Tea, and it was so good! The server added a decent amount of matcha, and the boba has a nice chewy texture! The servers are very nice and helpful! The atmosphere inside the shop is nice and cozy. It is definitely a nice place to study or read a book. I would definitely go back and try other drinks!

First of all lines were extremely long during the grand opening. I had to wait about an hour and a half to get seated and order after I ordered I sat at the booth area and behind the booth was the window area and it was not cleaned. they did not clean Before the grand opening customer service was good There I bought their popcorn chicken, but there was Barely any popcorn chicken to fill the box and the sauces or self serve, and the bottles that you use to get the sauces out were extremely hard to get an ounce of sauce out and I thought the milk tea was going to be good or at least decent but it was only milk. No tea flavor no tea essence. I did not smell tea or taste tea. I always smelt and taste with milk. No wonder they did a buy one and get one free. They only sold the milk. Clearly overrated and over hyped

he inside of the place has the typical bubble tea vibe. They have multiple options, and you can order at the kiosk, its best to order at the counter. If you want the aesthetic of the steaming teapot, it’s an additional $3, and you get to keep the trinket. I tried the Thai rice mochi tea, which tasted like Thai tea with some yellow jelly pudding. I also tried the jasmine tea, and the boba was slightly soft, almost soggy. The jasmine had a very floral flavor.

There’s a particular stretch of Bellaire Boulevard in Houston where food stops being just food and turns into something closer to a passport. Neon signs glow. Families shuffle between hot pot restaurants and bakeries. The smell of grilled meat, sweet pastries, and jasmine tea hangs in the air. In the middle of all this sits Ting Tea, a modern tea shop tucked into Diho Square that feels like it belongs exactly where it is. Step inside and you’ll see what makes places like this addictive. It’s not just bubble tea. It’s a small laboratory of flavor. The menu leans heavily on fresh teas, milk teas, fruit drinks, and smoothies, each customizable and built around fragrant tea bases and chewy pearls. The Strawberry Yogurt Smoothie is a good place to start. It arrives in a tall cup streaked with bright crimson strawberry puree running through creamy yogurt like some kind of edible marble. One sip and it hits that perfect balance: sweet, tangy, cold, and refreshing. It’s basically a drinkable strawberry parfait; rich enough to feel indulgent, but light enough that you finish the whole thing before you realize it. Then there’s the Eight Times Scented Jasmine Lemon Tea, which might be the
